About Us
About the Chairperson – UMESH KALRA & JYOTI

When we look around, we see millions struggling—not because of a lack of talent or will, but due to the absence of opportunity, access, and support. I founded Arlak Foundation with a singular belief: every life has value, and every life deserves dignity.
This foundation is not an initiative. It is a movement—a heartfelt mission to bring health to the neglected, education to the underserved, and hope to our environment. It is our collective duty to ensure that no child is denied learning, no family is left untreated, and no community is forced to live in polluted surroundings. For over a decade at Arlak Biotech, we’ve built trust in healthcare. Now, with Arlak Foundation, we carry that trust forward—beyond medicine—into the heart of society. Whether it’s through our free medical camps, educational outreach, or environmental clean-up drives, we strive to bring change that is visible, measurable, and lasting. But real change doesn’t come from one person or one organization. It takes all of us. That’s why I invite each of you—citizens, professionals, students, corporates—to stand with us, work with us, grow with us. Let us turn empathy into action, and concern into commitment.
This is our promise:
To serve with compassion.
To act with purpose.
To create a legacy of transformation.
Because “Care that comforts. Change that lasts.” is more than a tagline. It is the soul of Arlak Foundation.
With deep resolve,
Umesh Kalra
When I founded Arlak Foundation, it was born out of a simple yet powerful belief: every individual deserves a life of dignity, health, and opportunity. I have always felt a deep responsibility toward the society we live in—especially toward those who are often left unheard, unseen, and unsupported. Arlak Foundation is my way of turning that sense of responsibility into action.
From the very beginning, our mission has been clear—to uplift communities, empower women and children, ensure access to basic healthcare, and nurture the environment that sustains us all. What started as a small initiative has now grown into a movement driven by compassion, purpose, and people.
Our work is grounded in empathy, executed with transparency, and focused on long-term impact. We do not believe in charity—we believe in empowerment. We do not aim to create dependency—we aim to inspire self-reliance and growth. As the founder of Arlak Foundation, I am proud of what we’ve achieved, but I know our journey is far from over. There is so much more to do, and so many more lives to touch. I invite each one of you to join hands with us—whether as a volunteer, donor, partner, or simply a well-wisher. Together, we can build a society that cares, that includes, and that uplifts.
